Conscious or not, we often view "traffic" we blog solely as a noun. Just the numbers. Without a soul. Without feeling. In fact we are true human traffic blogs.
Yes, traffic is also human. Not just the numbers. Not just a stats counter data. Not just graphics that make you always want to check it out 5 times a day. :)
Traffic and "man" (who visit your blog) are two different things. You can buy traffic, but you can not buy loyalty visitors to your blog. Traffic will come if you're good enough search engine optimization, your blog visitors come because they feel have the benefit and your personal warmth. Traffic does not give a link to your blog, visitors to your blog with a link volunteer link to your blog. Traffic has no taste, your blog visitors smiled, nodded, sad, or angry to read the writing on your blog. Traffic does not register the RSS, blog visitors you need to register your blog's RSS. Traffic did not comment, visitors to your blog comment.
Visitors to your blog is a pulse that powers your blog.
If visitors to your blog is so important, what can you do to entice him to always come back to visit your blog?
Here are 5 simple tips on how to captivate visitors to your blog.
5 Tips Attractive Your Blog Visitors
1. Respect Blog Visitors AndaJika you want to captivate visitors of your blog, there is no other way except to appreciate your blog visitors. If your blog is the home, so your blog visitors are guests. Honor your guests. Be humble. Santunlah language. Courtesy does not mean identical with "EYD", which sometimes even too formal and rigid. Write your own style, although it is a style slang though, but get yourself to always be polite. Finally, do not ever brag to your blog visitors. Provides online business earnings information publicly on your blog was not anything wrong. However Convey information with an elegant way. Do not make your visitors think you are "showing off wealth." :)
Check Points:
- Be humble
- Use polite language
- Do not ever brag
2. Give More
Yes, give more. Of course not mean that should be money. Giving more can be providing blog content really useful. Something that can not be found on other blogs. Giving more can also be a good blog design with easy navigation and links required visitors to your blog. Giving more can also just change the code with no-follow your blog into a do-follow. Give "link love" to your blog visitors. And if possible, provide incentives for free (eg in the form of e-book) to visitors of your blog.
Check Points:
- Write content that is really helpful
- Make your blog design "different" among other blogs
- Give your referral link that takes visitors to your blog
- Give "link love" for each comment on your blog
- Give free e-book
3. Be a Good Friend
When deciding to create a blog, you actually have decided to be friends even if only through cyberspace. Befriend through a column of comments on your blog. As much as possible (at least while your blog is not busy as Oom Priyadi blog or Cosa Mas is always full of comments), greet comment on your blog. I am often surprised to find blogs with a comment and that too without any reply. If indeed you want visitors to your blog again, greet each comment, then help your visitors if you have any questions, or even greet even if only by giving of thanks. If you become a member of social media (eg MyBlogLog), be a "Contact" and leave a personal message to visitors of your blog.
Check Points:
- Try as much as possible to reply to comments on your blog
- Assist visitors to your blog if you have any questions
- Be "Contact" visitors to your blog on MyBlogLog
- Leave the personal message in social media visitors to your blog
4. This is the secret: Call name
One adage that I like is this: the most melodious voice that wants to hear everyone is calling their name. And even then available for visitors to your blog. If you reply to a comment on your blog, make sure to write down the names of visitors who leave messages on your blog. Do not just with the greeting "Mas, Mbak, Om or Bro." Write the name correctly (spelling, red). If you appreciate the name of your blog visitors, in exchange for your blog visitors will appreciate you.
Check Points:
- Write the name of your blog visitors to comment
- Write the name correctly
5. Visit Your New Friend
Establish friendships in the online world (virtual) is not different than in the offline world (real). Giving, sharing and mutual respect is the currency accepted in both worlds. If anyone is visiting your blog and make comments, even though only one, try to visit and give comments back on his blog. Give only positive comments (yes, there's no point in giving a negative comment for any reason if you really sincerely want to be friends). Finally, try to visit them periodically according to the time you have.
Check Points:
- Try to visit the blog to comment on your blog
- Give positive comments
- Visit regularly
Once again, blogging is not just data and numbers. Blogging is really about people. If you want to captivate visitors of your blog, there is no alternative but to treat it as human. Not just "traffic". The more you understand and appreciate your blog visitors, the greater your appreciation to your blog visitors.
So let us begin to treat the "traffic" as a human. Not just the numbers.
